Tennis: Sumit Nagal loses as India ends campaign medal-less after 40 years

Sumit faced a straight-set 4-6, 4-6 defeat to much higher-ranked Wu Yibing of China in the quarterfinals.

The world No. 111 Yibing proved to be too strong for Nagal, as he conceded three breaks in the match while he could manage to break Yibing's serve just once.

India has been one of the consistent teams in tennis at the Asian Games, but with this defeat, India has ended a long 40-year medal streak at the Games in Aichi-Nagoya.
