South Korean men's badminton team at Asian Games 2023

South Korea kicked off its campaign with a 3-1 win over Malaysia in the first round. In the quarterfinal, the Korean side registered another identical win over top seed Indonesia and set up the semifinal clash against India.

Indian men's badminton team at Asian Games 2023

India got a bye in the first round and defeated Nepal 3-0 in the quarterfinal on Friday to confirm its place in the semifinal. In the process, the Indian team confirmed a historic medal after 37 years. The last time India won a men's team medal was in the 1986 Asian Games.
