Boxing - Bronze for Parveen
Boxer Parveen Hooda lost to Chinese Taipe's Lin Yu Ting by 0-5 and settle for Bronze in 57kg Semifinal. Parveen who earlier secured the Olympic quota by reaching the semifinals has now become the 4th Indian boxer to win the Bronze medal at the Asian Games 2022 after Nikhat Zareen, Preeti Pawar and Narender Berwal.
Squash - Bronze for Abhay-Anahat
Mixed Doubles pair Abhay Singh and Anahat Singh get bronze as they lost to Malaysia's Mohammad Syafiq Bin Mohd Kamal and Aifa Binti Azman by 1-2 (11-8, 2-11, 9-11). With Compound Mixed Team gold medal, India gets their 71st Medal in Asian Games 2022 - the most by India in an Asian Games edition, as India surpass its highest-ever medal tally at the of 70 Medals achieved in 2018 Jakarta Asian Games.
