The Indian is on a roll! Quimcy has started the semifinals on a positive note, opening up a four-point lead at 5-1 in the first set. This is followed by a a run of points to stretch her lead to 8-2.

It is an important day for India as Quimcy Dsouza is set to play the women's singles teqball semifinal against Indonesia at 6:30 AM. A win will open India’s medals tally and will also guarantee India its first Teqball medal at the Asian Games.
Later in the day, the games will officially get underway. Double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker and two-time Asian champion Tajinderpar Singh Toor will lead the Indian contingent as flag-bearers.
