Quimcy starts the second set strongly, winning the first three of the four points with some quality smashes on the near side.
She kept her lead at the halfway stage despite the quality deceptive shots from Sakamoto, but then the home favourite won three straight points to level the score at 6-6.
After that, the errors crept in from the Japanese, and Quimcy regained a 3-point lead at 10-7.
Once again, the Japanese player showed her quality and won four straight points to earn a match point opportunity at 11-10.
Quimcy saved the first match point but then couldn't find a retrieval on the second and lost another set by just one point, 11-12.

In a closely fought first set, Quimcy lost to Sakamoto 11-12 with an unforced error on the set point.
Sakamoto started well in the set and gained a 7-4 lead, but the young Indian kept the pressure and levelled the score at 7-7; then Sakamoto again took a 10-8 lead.
Qumicy then won three points on the trot to earn a set point but then couldn't find the finish, losing the final two points on unforced errors.
