WPL Auction: Delhi Capitals wrapped up their 18-member squad for the Women's Premier League with 35 lakh rupees remaining in their purse.
While they were the side which started later than others when it came to bidding for players, or even commiting to bidding wars, they were the first and only side to fill the maximum amount of players allowed.
After a slow start, DC shelled out big money to get Jemimah Rodrigues for 2.2 crore, and then got Australian Meg Lanning (1.1 crore), and U19 star Shafali Verma (2 crore), The Capitals have a good balance of youth and experience in their squad.
