The Women's T20 Challenge returns to our screen after a year long hiatus today. In the first match of the season, the defending champions Trailblazers will take on the Supernovas in a repeat of the last edition's final.
Will Smriti Mandhana's Trialblazers once again prove too hot to handle for Harmanpreet Kaur's Supernovas? Or will the two-time champions have the revenge?

We are halfway through the Trailblazers' chase and they have 71 on the board. The problem for them though is the wickets section. With just 6 wickets in hand can they score the remaining 93 runs in 60 deliveries?

Alana King bamboozles Sharmin Akhter!
The defending champions are falling apart here. Sharmin Akhter comes down the track to Alana King, but she has yorked herself in the process. King is as accurate as always and the leg stump is rattled.
Four down for the Trailblazers and Jemimah Rodrigues can only watch it all from the non-strikers end.

Sophia Dunkley FALLS!
It's Pooja Vastrakar once again and it is PRIYA PUNIA ONCE AGAIN WITH A SENSATIONAL CATCH! Dunkley steps out and tries to hit Vastrakar over mid-off, she does not get the required elevation. Punia once again comes forward and once again takes it inches off the ground. This was a cleaner catch than the first one though.

Vastrakar gets Mandhana!
Pooja Vastrakar gets her second and she gets the big fish once again. Smriti Mandhana has to walk back, thanks to a brilliant catch from Priya Punia at mid-on. She runs forward a bit and grabs it just inches off the ground.
Right then, a wicket just after the break for Supernovas.

Alana King taken to cleaners!
First over after the powerplay, but Mandhana and Rodrigues don't care. They lay into Alana King and pocket 14 off the Australian's first over, including two boundaries.
This also brings upon the first strategic timeout of the second innings, with the Trailblazers well in control of the chase.

Pooja Vastrakar strikes gold for Supernovas. She bowls a tight over and forces that release shot. Matthews back away and tries to swing it over cover. The West Indian only manages a edge, which is taken brilliantly behind the stumps by Taniya Bhatia.
