A stunning all-round show from Deepti Sharma goes in vain as New Zealand, led from the front by Lauren Down, registers the second highest successful chase in women's ODI history to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the series.
The Indian women started brilliantly with a 100-run stand between openers Shafali Varma and S Meghana. A mini collapse followed after which a calm half century from Deepti Sharma helped them post 279 on the board.
They women in blue started well in the chase as well, with Jhulan Goswami striking early thrice. But, Indian one again rain into a red-hot Amelia Kerr, before Down took the White Ferns over the line with vital contributions from Katey Martin and Frances Mackay.
Brief Scores:
India - 279/10 - Deepti Sharma (69*), S Meghana (61), Rosemary Mair (2/43), Hannah Rowe (2/52)

IND - 270/8 (48)
Two overs in the bag and 285 looks a realistic goal now for India. If Deepti Sharma can stay on strike, she can push this upwards of that mark too.

Jhulan Departs!
She was swinging at everything was Jhulan Goswami. Pulls a well directed bouncer, the deep-square leg runs in dives forward and completes a wonderful catch. SENSATIONAL from AMELIA KERR!

50* Deepti Sharma!
She was under the pump coming into this contest. She hadn't scored big in a while, her strike-rate was questioned; but Deepti Sharma comes good under pressure.
A half century off 55 deliveries for the all-rounder.
IND - 253/7 (45.2)
