Volleyball: India beat Pakistan; reach final of Asian Championship

Indian volleyball team narrates a fairy tale for itself as it reaches the final of the Asian U-23 Men's Volleyball Championship defeating neighbours Pakistan 3-1. After losing out in the first set, the Amit Gulia led side staged a powerful comeback to win by 21-25, 25-16, 25-22 and 25-18. India reach final for the first time This the first time India reached the final of the Asian Men's U-23 Championship after the team topped its group which helped it secure a berth in the final eight of the tournament. The Amit Gulia-led side had registered wins over China and New Zealand. India will play the final of the tournament on Sunday against Chinese Taipei. With this victory, India seal a place at the World U-23 Championships.
