Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has expanded his decade-long partnership with Sanspareils Greenlands (SG), moving the association beyond cricket equipment into footwear and apparel with the launch of his signature collection, BORN TO BE.
Announced on October 14, 2026, the collection celebrates Pandya’s 33rd birthday and draws on his jersey number. Its centrepiece is a limited run of 333 numbered pairs of signature shoes, alongside footwear and apparel designed for use both on and off the field.
The signature footwear range comprises two models, HP33 PRIVEE and HP33 CITY, priced at ₹20,000 and ₹25,000. The shoes feature Vibram Megagrip lug outsoles, designed to provide grip, durability and support across different terrains.
The broader collection includes products priced from under ₹1,000 to ₹12,000, offering fans options beyond the limited-edition footwear.
Pandya involved in product development
According to the announcement, Pandya was involved in developing the collection, contributing to decisions on silhouettes, colours, fit, finish and performance. The range combines SG’s experience in cricket equipment with Pandya’s preferences in design and personal style.
Explaining the thinking behind the launch, Pandya said, “I’ve always believed that what you wear and what you play with should say something about who you are. With BORN TO BE, I wanted to build something from the ground up, not just put my name on it. We had a lot of brainstorming with the SG design team on fit, finish, colours, and feel, and on what the brand should stand for. We were very clear: even though we import the technology, the product has to be stitched in India; it has to be made in India, built to perform, and with a bit of attitude.
“Every piece is something I’d wear myself. The collectable signature shoes are special to me because they’re limited, numbered and made for the people who’ve backed me all these years. The collection also has pieces for everyone, because I want fans to be part of this.”
A decade-long association enters new categories
SG, established in 1931, has built its business around cricket equipment. Its partnership with Pandya has spanned ten years on the cricket field, and the latest launch extends the relationship into consumer footwear and apparel.
Paras Anand, CEO of Sanspareils Greenlands, said, “Hardik and SG have a relationship dating back to a decade on the field, and we’ve learned a lot about how he plays, what he needs from his gear and what he stands for. Moving into footwear and apparel was the natural next step, and we were ready for it. BORN TO BE ३३ is what happens when a brand with a legacy since 1931 and an athlete with a clear point of view work as true partners. Hardik brought real ideas and a sharp eye to every category, and our teams matched that with craftsmanship and technology.
“This is the start of a much bigger journey together.”
The first drop is open for pre-booking through the SG website and the District app. With only 333 pairs of the signature shoes available globally, the limited-edition footwear forms the most exclusive part of the launch.
The expansion allows SG to extend its association with Pandya to new product categories, while allowing the cricketer to participate directly in a collection built around his identity and preferences.
