Airsoft Gun India has announced the launch of new KWC air-gun models in India, expanding its portfolio as the Mumbai-based company looks to build a wider business around recreational shooting and target-sports experiences.

The company, which has operated since 2012, said the new range strengthens its offering in the CO2-powered air-gun category. The announcement includes several .177-calibre models intended for recreational shooting, target practice and sporting applications.

The launch forms part of Airsoft Gun India's broader effort to move beyond online retail and develop a network spanning sports equipment, shooting experiences, education and dealerships.

Building a shooting-sports business

Airsoft Gun India said its business has evolved from an online air-gun retailer into a sports and technology-oriented company, with a focus on products, shooting experiences and community participation.

The company is also developing a dealership and franchise model to expand its presence beyond Mumbai. Its franchise programme includes product training, marketing assistance, operational support and guidance on legal compliance.

According to the company, the objective is to build a structured market around recreational shooting and sporting participation, rather than relying solely on product sales.

The latest KWC additions expand a portfolio that already includes air guns from Indian and international manufacturers, alongside shooting-sports equipment and related experiences.

Expanding beyond product sales

Airsoft Gun India is also developing shooting experiences through its arena business, connecting equipment retail with supervised recreational activities.

The company's model brings together online commerce, physical shooting facilities and a proposed wider dealership network. This gives it multiple channels through which to reach enthusiasts and introduce recreational shooting experiences.

The company said it has served thousands of customers across India and sees further opportunities in making shooting-sports equipment and experiences accessible in different markets.

However, it has not disclosed the financial value of the latest launch, expected sales, or a quantified growth forecast for the CO2 air-gun category.

Developing the market

The expansion comes as the company seeks to position itself within India's broader recreational sports and leisure market.

Airsoft Gun India said it intends to focus on responsible sporting use, customer education and compliance with applicable regulations. Air guns are subject to product-specific specifications and Indian legal requirements, which customers and dealers must verify.

For the company, the KWC launch represents another step in building a business that combines equipment, retail distribution and shooting experiences.
