After the disappointment of Women's 10m Air Pistol early in the morning, the Indian Men's 10m Air Rifle shooters failed to impress as well as they failed to qualify for the final.
Deepak Kumar was the better of the two Indian rifle shooters in the day, finishing 26th with 624.7 points. Divyansh Panwar, on the other hand, ended at 32nd spot with 622.8.
The Men's Skeet qualification Day 1 is underway currently with Angad Bajwa and Mairaj Khan were in action. While Angad ended the day in a respectable 11th position, Mairaj slipped up after starting the day strongly and ended at the 25th spot.

Skeet Update - End of Round 2
End of Round 2 in Skeet. India's Angad Bajwa is ranked 9th, while Mairaj Ahmad Khan is at 14th position. Both have hit 49 targets out of a possible 50 across both the rounds.

Two shots below 10 for Divyansh!
It is getting from bad to worse for India, as Divyansh shoots just 9.9 and 9.7 in his first two shots of third series. This has pulled him down to number 40 in the rankings!

Both, Divyansh and Deepak seem to be struggling at the Asaka Shooting Range in Tokyo. They need to put it all together if they are to stand any chance of making it to the final.
