The coronavirus outbreak in China has made it difficult for the Chinese players to participate in the events that are held this year and it is especially damaging when it is the Olympic year.

Pakistan and China have pulled out of the ISSF World Cup to be held in March at Karni Singh Range in Delhi. China has pulled out of the world cup due to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic while Pakistan has pulled out sighting the reason that three of its shooters who have qualified for the Olympics need more time to train.

"Three of our shooters have been selected for Tokyo and we were looking for a coach for them. We have found a coach in Germany and he will only be available in March for our shooters. It makes no sense to send our players for the world cup and miss the training," Executive president of national rifle association of Pakistan, Javaidh Lodi told Times of India.

The Pakistan team was not given visas during the last season of the same event.
