Paralympics 2024 Day 8: Kapil Parmar wins India's first-ever medal in blind judo - Highlights

India will look to add more medals to their tally at the Paralympics 2024 on Thursday after surpassing their Tokyo Paralympics tally of 19. India so far won 25 medals.
Mona Agarwal and Harvinder Singh will be in action. While Mona aims for a bronze medal, Harvinder and Pooja will look to add a gold medal in the mixed team recurve event. Simran is also a good medal prospect in the women's 100 T12 event.

Mixed team recurve archery semi-final!
India's Harvinder Singh and Pooja Jatyan are set to face Italy's Elisabetta Mijno and Stefano Travisani in the Mixed Team Recurve Semifinals. The Indian duo is just one win away from securing another coveted medal in the archery.

India qualifies for the semi-finals!
Milena starts set three with a 7, while Lukasz hits a near-perfect 9. Meanwhile, Singh scores an 8 for India, and Jatyan delivers again with a 10. In the second arrow, Milena and Lukasz both shoot 8s. In response, Jatyan hits a 9, and Singh closes with a 9. India wins!! India are through to the semifinals!

Polish archers to go first this time. Milena shoots first and scores a 9, while Lukasz manages a dismal 7. In response, Singh shoots a 9, just missing the 10, and Jatyan falls short with a 7. In the second arrow, Milena scores an 8, followed by another 8 from Lukasz. In response, Jatyan hits a bullseye with a 10, while Singh scores a 7.

In the first arrow, Singh shoots a perfect 10, giving India a great start, while Jatyan scores an 8. In response, Milena of Poland also shoots a perfect 10, but her partner Lukasz manages only a dismal 7. In the second arrow, Jatyan scores another 8, and Singh follows with a 9. Polish archer Milena hits a 9, while Lukasz is off the mark with a 6. India 35 - 32 Poland.
