Indian shooter Manu Bhaker paired up with Russia's Artem Chernousov to win the gold at the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event at the concluding day ISSF Shooting World Cup Final in Putian, China on Friday. Three other Indians along with Manu had participated in the event.

Saurabh Chaudhury and Anna Korakaki partnered to pull off a close competition and finished second behind Manu's team. A neck-to-neck contest ensued between Manu and Saurabh's team where Manu and Chernousov trailed at the second position to come back to reach 16 ahead of anyone else. Another Indian, Shahzar Rizvi teamed up with Serbia's Zorana Arunovic to win the bronze medal in the same event.

Meanwhile, Abhishek Verma, who partnered with Korea's Minjung Kim could reach the final stages of the competition.

With today's result, Manu Bhaker earns two gold medals at the ongoing Shooting World Cup. On Thursday, she had bagged the top honours at the 10m Air Pistol Women’s event. After missing out on a place in the 25m pistol final on a tiebreaker on Wednesday, Manu bounced back with gold with a total score of 244.7, which was a new world record junior score created.
