Lalrindiki once again with a beautiful pass through the gap between three defenders to Deepika. The striker is one-on-one with the goalkeeper, who is quick enough to avert the danger.

Malaysia on the attack straightaway as they penetrate the circle from the right flank. The Indian defence intercepts it cleanly to avoid any sort of danger.

Nothing really worked out for Malaysia in the first 30 minutes. 5 shots on target for them, but none converted.

That's the end of the first half - 30 minutes completely dominated by India. Malaysia did get a couple of counter-attacking opportunities, but the Indian defence was up to the task and the South East Asian nation failed to open their account.

The way things have been in the first half, this should be an easy wrap-up for the Indians.

Certainly India's quarter. India started off slowly gifting away possessions multiple times as Malaysia sat back and defended easily. But Salima Tete and co soon made amends and Malaysia crumbled conceding two goals in just a minute.
