And that’s the end of the first half! UP Rudras go into the break with a solid 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Sudeep Chirmako and Lalit Kumar in the opening quarter.

The second quarter saw a much-improved fightback from Tamil Nadu Dragons, as they started to see more of the ball and put pressure on the Rudras' defense. However, they couldn't create any clear-cut goal-scoring chances. Meanwhile, Rudras had a penalty corner late in Q2, but they failed to capitalize.

With just two quarters remaining, the Dragons need to come out firing in the second half if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
