HIL: Tamil Nadu Dragons win shootout to advance to semis- Highlights
UP Rudras lost to Tamil Nadu Dragons in shootout in the final group stage match of Hockey India League.

In a must-win clash, UP Rudras started strong, racing to a 2-0 lead in the first quarter through Sudeep Chirmako and Lalit Kumar.
However, Tamil Nadu Dragons fought back, with Jip Janssen scoring from a penalty corner in Q3 before Thomas Sorsby’s stunning goal leveled the match in Q4.
With no late winner, the game went to a shootout, where UP Rudras prevailed 3-2. Despite the win, the Rudras missed out on a playoff spot, while the Dragons’ one point from the shootout loss was enough to keep them in contention.
