A pretty interesting first quarter. The teams matched each other moves for move. Though it looked like the Tigers were calling the shots early on, the Dragons fought back well. At the end, even the possession was quite similar for both sides. Scorers yet to be troubled.

The first penalty corner of the match for Tamil Nadu Dragons and the Bengal Tigers need a save from Jamie Carr to deny.

Jip Jannsen takes the first drag flick, but it is deflected off the leg of the first rusher. A second PC handed and it is Blake Govers, who steps up this time.

The Rarh Bengal Tigers earn the first penalty corner of the match. It is a good injection, but the trap is poor. The on field umpire blows the whistle even before the Tigers can take the drag flick.

That was the ball trapped before it reaches its designated position. Too eager there, the trapper.

A threatening move – first of the match – from the Dragons and Nathan Ephramus is in a good position. But the Tigers defence, including the goalkeeper, do well to avert the danger.

The last five minutes have seen a shift. The Tamil Nadu Dragons enjoying the ball control now with a couple of good circle penetrations.

The Bengal Tigers seem to be in control. They have enjoyed most of the possession and the Tamil Nadu Dragons are still just settling into the match.
