Savita Punia stays calm and blocks the ball. The Indian defenders surround and somehow get out of it. That was close!

Felice Albers is left open and she rushes on the left flank to receive a well placed pass.

A good aerial pass from India and Navneet Kaur finds herself in open space.

She receives the ball well, takes a step into the circle and launches a shot. It flies over the post.

It is Deepika with the drag flicking duties. Her first attempt hits the first rusher Lisa Post on foot, handing them a second.

The second attempt is deflected cleanly off the stick by Post. That's two back-to-back PCs missed for India.

A quick free hit taken from Lalremsiami after a stick challenge from Yibbi Jansen.

The Indian runs into the circle and pushes the ball smartly to Jansen's foot.

Savita Punia replaces Bichu Devi in the goal and she is called to action rightaway. 

A cross from the left from Netherlands and Punia just calmly kicks it to her teammate.

That's the end of the opening quarter. Netherlands certainly enjoyed most of the possession and created chances as well.

India also had one real chance, but they hit it way above the post on a counter attack.

The Indian defence has done well. They just need to ensure that they aren't giving away those soft PCs from the baseline, which has been a real issue so far.

Netherlands continue to press forward and they earn their third penalty corner of the match.

Yibbi Jansen once again with the drag flick and it is cleared away. I'm not sure if it was the postwoman or the goal post.

It was the post. Just buzzed past Ishika, hit the post and deflected away.
