The Indian team with the inaugural FIH Hockey 5s Trophy
The Indian men's team have been crowned the inaugural FIH Hockey 5s champions with a 6-4 win over Poland in the final. The women's team, on the other hand, failed to reach the final.

HALF TIME!
WHAT A HALF!
Poland started in a dominating fashion and scored thrice within the first 5 minutes. The Indians looked down and out but as we have seen over the past few days, a comeback in Hockey 5s is never out of contention. Sanjay and Gurinder scored twice within a minute towards the end of the half to keep India within touching distance.
But the real star for India has to be their goalkeeper Pawan, who made a lot of crucial saves.

The Indian skipper steps up under pressure. A cross from the right to centre and Gurinder has a wide open gap. He strikes it powerfully and the Polish keeper is beaten low towards his right.

India attacks, the Polish defence clears at first. Sanjay recieves the ball and slots it in the right corner from the left flank. India open their account.

Terrific goalkeeping from Pawan as Poland refuse to budge. Three or four shots taken in a row and the Indian keeper has blocked them all.

Wow, this is slipping away quick and fast from India. Rutakowski with the goal this time and Poland have scored thrice within 5 minutes.
