Welcome to The Bridge's LIVE blog for Artistic Gymnastics on Day 6 of the Tokyo Olympics.
The battle is on between the top women as the gold is up for grabs with Simone Biles withdrawing from the AA Finals at the Tokyo Olympics

Melnikova up on beam now - wobble. Recovers so well and hits beautifully under pressure! 13.7 for her.
Simone and Team USA girls cheering for Melnikova as she performed beam. SO nice to watch.
This competition is going to be so close.

Urazova beam - good mount, wow lovely flight series, she looks very comfortable today. Beautiful wolf turns. This is some great work from her today on beam. Only the dismount - great 2.5 twist. Big statement for her with this routine.
Kovacs floor - 12.6
Steingruber bars - not her strongest event but gets through it well.

Nina Derwael beam - big wobble on her mount, lovely flight series, good leaps, looking very steady now, just the dismount - does a dull twisting gainer. She gets through it without a fall

We're back!
Jade Carey beam - started well, and NOO she's off on her flight series. Wow the beam is so unforgiving today. Recovers well but looks like the damage may have been done.
Will be interesting to see how the others do, she may not be out after all :O
