As the Indian Super League (ISL) 2024-25 season approaches, excitement is building not just for the on-field action but also for the revamped ISL Fantasy game.

After a successful revamp last season, ISL Fantasy promises to be even more engaging this year with several key updates.

Whether you're a seasoned fantasy football manager or a newcomer, this comprehensive guide will help you navigate the ISL Fantasy game and make the most of your experience.

What’s New in ISL Fantasy 2024-25?

1. Enhanced Scoring Metrics:

This season introduces new scoring metrics that reward defensive and playmaking contributions more significantly.

Players will now earn 1 point for every 15 successful passes and 1 point for every 2 interceptions. This change highlights the importance of midfielders and defenders in your fantasy squad.

2. Transfer Roll Over:

Managers can now save up to three transfers by rolling over unused free transfers to future Matchweeks. This added flexibility allows for better strategic planning and can help you adapt to player injuries or form changes.

3. Adjusted Player Salaries:

Player salaries have increased slightly but with smaller fluctuations compared to last season. This adjustment means that building a competitive team will require careful planning and research, providing a fair chance for those who missed out on top performers earlier.

How to Play ISL Fantasy

1. Building Your Squad:

Upon registration, you'll receive a budget of 100 Crores to build a squad of 15 players. This squad must include 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, and 3 forwards. You can select no more than 3 players from any single club, adding a layer of strategic diversity to your team-building process.

2. Selecting Your Playing XI:

Before each Matchweek, choose your best 11 players to score points. You can opt for any formation as long as it includes at least one goalkeeper, three defenders, two midfielders, and one forward. The remaining four players, including one goalkeeper and three outfield players, will be on the bench and should be set in order of priority.

3. Captains and Vice-Captains:

Each Matchweek, designate a captain and a vice-captain. The captain's points are doubled, while the vice-captain will take over if the captain does not play. Strategic selection of these roles can significantly impact your weekly score.

Transfers and Point Allocation

1. Transfers:

You get one free transfer per Matchweek, which cannot be carried forward. Additional transfers will cost you -4 points each. Use your transfers wisely to optimize your team’s performance.

2. Points System:

Points are awarded for various actions:

- Goals: 6 points for goalkeepers/defenders, 5 points for midfielders, 4 points for forwards.

- Assists: 3 points.

- Clean Sheets: 4 points for goalkeepers/defenders, 1 point for midfielders.

- Penalty Saves: 5 points; Penalty Misses: -2 points.

- Cards: Yellow card: -1 point; Red card: -3 points.

- Own Goals: -2 points.

Key Point Boosters

1. Bench Boost:

Earn points from your bench players for one Matchweek. Use it when you’re confident that all players will start and have favourable fixtures.

2. Triple Captain:

Triple the points for your chosen captain in a single Matchweek. Ideal for players with multiple fixtures or in excellent form.

3. Wildcard:

Make unlimited transfers twice per season without penalty. Use it to overhaul your squad strategically.

4. Free Hit:

Overhaul your squad for one Matchweek and revert to your original team afterward. Useful for Matchweeks with many unavailable fixtures or player issues.

Leagues and Prizes

1. Leagues:

- ISL League: Compete with all registered participants in India.

- Club League: Compete with participants of your favourite ISL club.

- Private League: Challenge friends, family, or other fantasy managers.

2. Prizes:

ISL Fantasy 2024-25 features a total of 123 prizes across various categories including Matchweek winners, Club Monthly winners, Playoff winners, and League winners. This means plenty of opportunities to earn rewards throughout the season.

The ISL Fantasy 2024-25 game is set to be more dynamic and engaging with its new features and adjustments.

Whether you’re optimizing your squad with strategic transfers or deploying point boosters at the right moments, the game offers numerous ways to outwit your competition and secure top positions.
