Recruiting season for Kolkata football giants East Bengal seems to be never ending as they have now announced three new signings.

The Bridge had reported that they have signed midfielder Sehnaj Singh from Indian Super League (ISL) side ATK FC. Joining Sehnaj are, Bikash Jairu from Jamshedpur FC and Calvin Lobo from Minerva Punjab. Interestingly, all three of them have played for the club at one point of time or the other.

On one hand when football players are struggling with their contracts, with Quess invoking the force majeure clause and terminating all contracts, the club is on a signing spree for the upcoming season. The Red and Golds need to come to an understanding with Quess regarding how to go about with the group's exit from the club.

East Bengal are rebuilding the team having recently acquired the services of Shankar Roy, Balwant Singh, and Novin Gurung from Mohun Bagan, ATK, and Real Kashmir respectively.

They also signed Omid Singh, a player of India origin, from Persian Gulf Pro League.

The red-and-gold brigade had an up-and-down I-League campaign that saw them parting ways with coach Alejandaro Menendez after losing in a derby to champions Mohun Bagan.

They finished second (23 points) with four matches left in the table when the season was called off.
