2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers Highlights: The Indian men's football team got better of Kuwait in a tough away game to start the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with a win.
In the Group A clash, India defeated Kuwait 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Manvir Singh in the 75th minute.
With this win, India is placed second behind Qatar in the group as they defeated Afghanistan 8-1 to top the group.

That was a good show from India in the first half as they displayed hunger to win the second balls and go for the goal. India had a golden chance but Sunil Chhetri's shot was just above the cross bar.
Nikhil Poojary and Akash Mishra have been good for India.
