54' - Sherif Abdul-Khadim MISSES!

Very loose from Jahouh as Ismael quite literally snatches the ball from his feet outside the D. The latter passes it to Sherif-Abdul Khadim who has the entire goal post to himself but manages to hit it wide. BIG MISS!

50' - FALL CLEARS!

Yet another dangerous play in the D by the Airforce Club and they are denied once again - this time by M Fall who heads the ball away.

Brad Inman comes in!

Brad Inman is subbed in for Vikram Singh by the Mumbai City FC. A couple of changes for the Air Force Club as well.

46' - Lachenpa SAVES!

The Mumbai City goalkeeper is called into action rightaway after the break, courtesy a wonderful through ball. That was dangerous, but Lachenpa is up to the task to kick it away with a slide.

HALF TIME!

That's the end of the first period of play and both the teams are yet to get on the scoresheet. The Airforce club did certainly enjoy a better possession and created more chances, but the Mumbai City FC defence was up to the task.

The Islanders started off slowly gifting away the possession very frequently in their own half but have grown in confidence. They did have a couple of good chances off their own, but failed to net anything. 

Will we see a more attacking game from both sides post the break?

43' - Vikram Singh MISSES!

A lousy pass from the Air Force Club defence and Vikram Singh intercepts. He passes it to Chhangte who dribbles and passes it back. Singh has a clear shot at goal, but puts it wide. 

How costly will this be?

37' - Lachenpa tips it over!

A pin-point aerial pass from the left wing, Alaa Abass' header seemed to be going in but Lachenpa jumps full length to tip it over the crossbar. Good goalkeeping there!

33' - SHOT FIRED WIDE!

Mustafa Mohammed dives and keeps at ball in at the right corner and finds a striker right in the middle of the D. The striker's header goes towards Ismael who has a clear shot at the goal, but the shot is just wide of the post. 

31' - Mauricio's header goes above the cross bar!

The Islanders get a corner and they take it quickly. Passed to Jahouh who comes up with a pinpoint pass to Diego Mauricio. The Brazilian is left unattended by the Air Force club, but his header goes just above the crossbar. That's an opportunity missed by Mumbai City FC.

29' - LUCKY ESCAPE!

Lachenpa with an unnecessary charge from the goal, Ismael runs in from the left flank and tries to chip it in. The goal was wide open, but thankfully for Mumbai City FC it doesn't go in.
