Dubbed as the replacement for PUBG, India's very own mobile game Fearless and United Guards (FAU-G) is all set to be launched on 26th January 2020.

The developers, nCore Games, announced the release date through their twitter handle along with the trailer of the game on Sunday.

"What will you do if they come? We will hold our ground & fight back, because we are Fearless. United. Unstoppable FAU:G! Witness the anthem FAU:G! Launch 26/1," read the tweet by nCore Games.

The official launch of FAU-G comes around four months after the game was annouced back in September after the ban of the fan favourite PUBG Mobile. Though the developers have maintained that FAU-G is not here to replace PUBG, there surely will be comparisions and it remains to be seen whether FAU-G is able to replicate the success PUBG had gained amongst Indian gamers.

There had been immense hype around FAU-G, mainly due to its nationalistic narrative. The eagerness of the fans for the game was much visible when FAU-G registered the highest number of pre-registrations within the first twenty-four hours of it being available for registrations.

20% of the revenue generated by FAU-G is expected to go to a trust named, "Bharat Ke Veer" which supports the families of martyred Indian soldiers.
