'Shame on BCCI' trends on Twitter as netizens urges support from body
Sports icons and sports bodies from India have come forward to lend their helping hand towards for people into their fight against the coronavirus pandemic. From Sachin Tendulkar to Hima Das and Dipa Karmakar have provided monetary relief and some of them, salaries to help people in this time of crisis.
On the other hand, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) which is one of the wealthiest sporting bodies in the country have not come in the support and for this reason, Twitteratis are aggrieved. #ShameonBCCI trends on Saturday evening as netizens calls out to show some generosity.
