Deepti Sharma felicitated by Bengal government for her performance in T20 World Cup
The all-rounder played vital role in India's two wins during the group stages of the tournament.

Indian women cricketer Deepti Sharma was felicitated by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, Government of West Bengal on 14 March. Deepti was the part of the Indian squad that finished as the finalist of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia.
The all-rounder played vital role in India's two wins during the group stages of the tournament. Deepti first played a handy unbeaten knock of 49 in India’s impressive 17-run win over defending champions and hosts Australia in the tournament opener. Deepti was also impressive in India's win over Sri Lanka as she scored an unbeaten 15 and picked up a wicket.
The 22-year-old cricketer shared the pictures of felicitation ceremony on Twitter.

Earlier, another cricketer Shikha Pandey too was felicitated by Air Marshal MSG Menon, Air Officer-in-Charge Administration for her performance in the T20 World Cup.
