West Bengal's popular club Mohun Bagan has donated Rs. 20 lakh to the state's Emergency Relief Fund to combat COVID-19 pandemic.

This is a campaign started by the Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee where in people can contribute to the fight against the pandemic by supporting the Chief Minister's relief fund. The West Bengal government is determined to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The government has created West Bengal Chief Minister's relief fund with 200 crores.

With this, the club has entered the list of teams and sports stars who have donated some or the other thing in this fight against the virus. The list includes names like Sachin Tendulkar, Bajrang Punia, Hima Das, Sourav Ganguly and many more.

West Bengal has especially been active in fighting the virus with a lot urgent enactment of things. From converting stadiums to a centre to treat patients to offering food to the needy, they have been a step ahed.
