After another successful outing that saw India add six medals to its tally- two gold and a silver in judo, a double podium in javelin, and the first-ever medal in Decathlon on Friday at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

The country's athletes return for an exciting Day 10, which was the final day for the Athletics and boxing programme, featuring overall 21 medal events.

Ten boxing finals took place on August 1st, and led to a big boost for India's medal tally. Meanwhile, the men's triple jump final delivered a double podium for India, featuring Praveen Chithravel and Selva Prabhu.

In Para Athletics, Soman Rana and Shubham Juyal also confirmed a double podium for India. While Gulveer Singh returns for the 5,000m final and becomes India's only multi-medallist in Glasgow.

Boxing, Women's 75kg Final: Lovlina wins Round 2!

Emma has been a bit quieter in the second round so far. This is Lovlina's opportunity to take over and sway the judges.

The Indian, in blue corner, is doing her level best to land some punches.

She is landing some good punches now, is Lovlina. A clash of heads forces the referee to bring in the ring side doctor for Emma.

Nerves seems to have settled in for Lovlina. She has done much better than the first round. But is it enough?

Yup, it is enough. Lovlina wins the second round 4-1 on split!

Boxing, Women's 75kg Final: Lovlina concedes the opening round

Emma starts off with a brilliant combination of punches. The Australian has landed a few within the first 30s already.

Lovlina is still settling in, but she won't have a lot of time to cope up. Emma seems to be in an aggressive mood.

The Australian is ranked world No 4, while the Indian is placed world No 7.

Lovlina looking to stay out of her opponent's reach, but Emma's speed is causing the Indian troubles. This surely won't be as easy as the other bouts for India.

Emma now running circles inside the ring, evading attempted punches comfortably. Lovlina is warned for hitting the back of her opponent's head.

A few punches at the fag end of the round from Lovlina before the bell. Is it enough?

The Indian has lost the opening round 1-4 on split.

Boxing, Women's 70kg Final: Arundhati Choudhary wins GOLD!

Arundhati Choudhary is in control of the bout now. Reid, surprisingly, isn't attacking as much as the second round.

This has turned into a slow bout once again, working straight into the hands of Arundhati, who must be happy with it.

Both pugilists dancing around the ring, the punches few and far in between.

A few blows exchanged now as the clock goes under a minute. I don't think Reid has done enough to overturn the defecit.

Arundhati has both her arms up in the air as the bell rings. She knows she's got the gold in the bag.

The judges agree as well. Arundhati Choudhary is the Commonwealth Games gold medallist!

Boxing, Women's 70kg Final: Arundhati wins Round 2

An early punches exchange this time as Reid decides she has to go all out.

Arundhati is taken aback but she has a smile on her face even as both of them share punches. The Indian is warned for hitting her opponent on the back of her head.

Reid seems to be taking over now. Arundhati needs to find a few blows, I feel.

The Indian does manage a couple of clean punches, but Reid has also retaliated dearly.

Will the judges still favour Arundhati? Yes, they do unanimously!

Arundhati's accuracy coming into her rescue there.

Judo Men's 81Kg bronze medal bout: Harsh Tokas loses on Ippon; finishes fifth

Harsh Tokas lost a chance of winning his maiden Commonwealth Games medal, losing to Keishin Ochi of Australia on an Ippon in the bronze medal bout.

Harsh was going for a throw but couldn't control it, and Keishin made full use of it and turned him down on the counter, forcing Harsh to fall on his back and concede an Ippon.

Indian judokas ended their day with one medal as Unnati Sharma had previously won a 63kg bronze medal.

Boxing, Women's 70kg Final: Arundhati wins Round 1

A slow start to the bout with neither Arundhati or Reid willing to go on the offence. They keep hopping around on the same spot before Reid decides she's had enough and charges. They end up in a tangle.

Reid is getting eager now, while Arundhati stays patient. The Indian finally lands a clean hook as Reid loses her footing on the charge.

With under 50s left on the clock, the boxers exchange a couple of blows and Reid has taken Arundhati down and is over her. She immediately gets up and we get going again.

A very cautious opening round. Who have the judges got?

Arundhati wins it 4-1 on split!
