It seemed Vikas's day but it wasn't to be as the inexperienced Okazawa got the better of him. Despite being confident in the first round, Vikash could not find the right approach and was beaten on a unanimous decision by the 5 judges. 

Vikas Krishan is out!!

Vikas Krishan is out in the first round of the Welterweight category.

Vikas will have to find something special to make a turnaround at this stage. All his efforts are being evaded by Okazawa.

It is getting tougher for Vikash and his injury isn't helping at all. Okazawa is evading his moves and his showing immense confidence

Round 3 begins

Vikas will have to use his experience to make his recovery. He has changed his approach completely and his out to get the better of his opponent

He needs the basic treatment but is back to continue

Okazawa still seems to be dominating although it is quite close. Krishan receives a cut above his left eye. It wont be enough to stop the bout. 

Round 2 begins!

Vikas has changed his approach and is trying to put his opponent into corners. Lot of concentration from the two on carrying out the tactics of their coaches.
