Up next: Simran Singhi and Shruti Mishra
The women's doubles duo of Simran Singhi and Shruti Mishra will now take on Lee Sohee and Shin Seungchan in a bid to help India equalise the tie score.
Remember, the only game Simran and Shruti played together in this edition of Uber Cup, they went down to the pair from Canada. So, a lot is at stake for this dynamic duo.

Sindhu LOSES!
There's that. PV Sindhu, once again, goes down 15-21, 14-21 in straight games against An Se Young. That's the Korean's fifth win in as many appearances against the Indian.
First loss for Sindhu in this edition of Uber Cup and India are down 0-1 in their final league stage tie.

Young extends her lead!
This seems to have slipped away quickly from PV Sindhu. She trails 10-15 in the second game and has a mountain to climb her.

An Se Young LEADS
Sindhu has once again squandered the advantage as Young goes into the mid-game break with an 11-9 lead. What's worse is Sindhu has burned both her reviews for the second game already as well.
Long, long road ahead for the former World Champion. Can she somehow push this into a decider?

Sindhu starts well!
Much like the first game, Sindhu is the better player off the blocks in the second game. She leads 5-2.

Sindhu surrenders GAME 1
You've got to be kidding me. Sindhu was leading 15-13, but she has conceded it 15-21. Eight straight points for An Se Young to take the first game and the Indian looks clueless all of a sudden.
Can PV Sindhu put this horror run of play behind her and bounce back in the next game?

An Se Young LEADS!
She has turned this around and she has done it magically has An Se Young. A two-point lead for the Korean at 17-15 and Sindhu seems to have completely lost her way here.

All square!
Sindhu hits one straight into the net and An Se Young from being 7-11 down has drawn level at 15-15. Pressure on Sindhu to step up her game.

Sindhu loses a challenge!
Sindhu challenges after her shot is called long. It is just out and she loses a challenge. An Se Young is fighting back and has reduced the deficit to just two points. Sindhu leads 13-11.

11-7
Advantage Sindhu as An Se Young keeps committing multiple errors to give the Indian a comfortable lead at the mid-game break. However knowing her history against Young, Sindhu cannot afford to breathe easy.
Nonetheless, a fantastic start for PV Sindhu.
