2025 All England Open LIVE: The prestigious All England Open Super 1000, the oldest badminton competition in the world, began on Tuesday in Birmingham.
Leading India's charge on the opening day were the men's singles shuttlers in HS Prannoy and Lakshya Sen.
The former exited while the latter produced a stellar comeback.
Also, Malvika Bansod punched above her weight move through to the second round in the women's singles. Meanwhile, there was no joy for Ashwini Ponnappa-Tanisha Crasto in he women's doubles and for Sathish Karunakaran-Aadya Variyath in the mixed doubles.
