Multiple Indian shuttlers were in action on the second day of the 2025 All-England Open at the Utilita Arena Birmingham in England on Wednesday.
India's no.1 women's singles player PV Sindhu went down in the first round against Kim Ga-eun of Korea
Meanwhile, the women's doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand got the better of Sung Shuo-yun and Yu Chien-hui of Chinese Taipei.
The top-ranked Indian men's doubles duo of Satwiik and Chirag will take on the unseeded Danish pair later tonight.

A day of mixed results for India!
Much was expected from PV Sindhu but she disappointed by exiting in the very first round on Wednesday.
However, there was joy for India courtesy Treesa-Gopichand in the women's doubles category where the duo posted a solid victory.

India's Treesa Jolly and Gayathri Gopichand have beaten Chinese Taipei's Sung Shuo Yun and Yu Chien Hui 21-17 and 21-13 in a match that lasted 48 mins.

India's no.1 women's singles player, PV Sindhu, had a very early exit, losing the first-round match to Kim, despite winning the opening game.
She started the match brilliantly taking a big lead of 20-12 but since then Kim showed excellent all-round play to win the match and progress further.
