The Koreans take the first point after Treesa goes wide, before Gayatri's smash takes the net and falls on the other side. Lucky for the Indians. 1-1 is the score in the second game.

Treesa/Gayatri surrender Game 1

It seemed at a point of the Indians are fighting back as Treesa/Gayatri reduced the deficit to 10-14, but Baek and Lee had saved their best for the last. The Koreans win 7 points in a row to shut the resurgent Indians and win the first game 21-10 in 20 minutes.

Another long rally, but this time it falls in the favour of Baek/Lee. The Indians did well to stay in it for most part, but were eventually left stranded on the same side of the court. Treesa/Gayatri trail 10-16. 

Brilliant from Treesa/Gayatri

Longest rally of the match so far and they looked down and out of it. But, Treesa and Gayatri combine well in the end to win that point in their favour. They still trail 9-13.

The Indians have been completely outplayed in this contest so far. They go into the mid-game break with a massive 5-11 deficit. While Gayatri has been decent, Treesa has been rather ordinary so far. The latter needs to elevate her game if the Indians are to pose any trouble.

Gayatri seems to be in the zone now even as Treesa looks a bit indifferent. A couple of points more won by the former, but they still trail 3-7.

Good stuff this from Treesa/Gayatri. First they return three or four consecutive smashes well, before the latters return takes the top half of the net and falls on the other side. A slice of luck for Gayatri there and the Indians needed it.
