Welcome to the live blog of The Bridge of Day 3 of the All England Open 2022!
India kept their quest for an All England Open crown going and how! While Lakshya Sen got a walkover from his Chinese opponent, Lu Guang Zu, in the quarterfinals, it was the doubles duo's from India that garnered the most attraction today.
First, the young pair of Gayatri Gopichand/Treesa Jolly produced a stellar performance against 2nd seeded Korean pair of Lee Sohee and Shin Seungchan and came back from a set down to win, 14-21, 22-20, 21-15 to enter the semi-finals on their debut outing.
Meanwhile, the pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty set up an entertaining, high-octane clash against the World No. 1 pair of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon and Kevin Sukamujlo a.k.a the Minions and produced quite the jaw-dropping fight. However, the Indian suffered a 11th straight loss to the Indonesian pair, 24-22, 21-17.

JUST IN: Lakshya Sen is through to the semi-finals!
Lakshya Sen, who has been on a roll and even saw off Anders Antonsen in the pre-quarters has been given a walkover from his Chinese opponent Lu Guang Zu.
The 20-year-old is now through to the semis on his debut appearance at the All England Open!
He stands a chance to face off against All England champ Lee Zii Jia or World No. 2 Kento Momota next! What a match-up!
