What a brilliant end to the men's 100m final and we have a new Olympic champion, as Marcell Lamont Jacobs wins the gold. The Italian set a personal best timing of 9.80s in the finals.

Both finish with a time of 9.83s but once again it was the tiniest of margins that led to Su finishing first.
