The reigning world champion goes to the top of the standings after three rounds, ahead of Smit (84.12m) and Peters (83.63m).

Neeraj Chopra is off and running at the 2025 Ostrava Golden Spike. 

He registers a throw of 83.45m with his second attempt. The Indian is placed third after two round of throws with Douw Smit (84.12m) and Anderson Peters (83.63m) ahead of him.

Grenada's Anderson Peters leads the field after first round of throws. He registered 83.63m to start off.

Douw Smit (80.48m) of South Africa is the only other javelin throw to touch the 80m mark in the first round.
