PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy in singles and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty in men's doubles cruised to the quarterfinals with rather comfortable victories, while it was the curtain for Kidambi Srikanth and women's doubles duo of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand.

They met twice, both in 2023, and Srikanth lost on both occasions - at the Badminton Asia Championships and All England Open.

Satwik-Chirag roars, through to the quarterfinals
Again relentless smashing by Satwik and Chirag. The Indonesians have had no chance. They could not defend it. The Indians power their way to the quarterfinals. Satwik and Chirag won the third game 21-12 and the match 2-1.
Final result: Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty beat Rolly Carnando Leo-Daniel Marthin 24-22, 16-21, 21-12 in 84 minutes
