Asian Games 2026: We have reached the beginning of the end of the 2026 Asian Games campaign.
Tuesday will mark the final day of athletics action, India's most successful sport at the continental games. In action at the track and field would be the likes of Pooja Singh, Avinash Sable, and men's 4x400m relay team, hoping to win the nation's first gold medal.
At the same time, all the six Indian boxers, who have assured medals, will also be in action in their respective semi-finals.
There'll also be action across sports like sailing, surfing, kurash, cycling, and more.

Canoeing, Women's Canoe Single Heats: Pallavi, Rina advance
Pallavi Jagtap with 224.20 finished 7th while Rina Sen with 342.72 finished 9th in the Women's Canoe Single heats. Both will now feature in the semifinals.

Canoeing, Men's Kayak Single Heats: Hitesh, Pradhyumna qualify for next round
India's Hitesh Ahlawat and Pradhyumna Singh Rathod qualified for the Men's Kayak Single semifinals. Hitesh clocked 118.22 to finish 8th and Pradhyumna Singh Rathod clocked 127.70 for 10th place in the heats.

Cycling, Men's Team Sprint: India seeded seventh
The Indian trio of Rojit Yanglem, David Beckham, and Ronaldo Laitonjam finish seventh in men's sprint team qualification out of eight teams with Thailand being disqualified.
They clocked 44.895 and will go up against second seeded China in Round 2.

Shooting, Women's Trap Qualification: India confirms SILVER
A pleasant piece of news coming in from Aichi-Nagoya!
India’s women’s trap team has secured a silver medal, with Neeru, Aashima Ahlawat and Manisha Keer combining for a score of 328 to finish second.
China topped the standings with 346, while Kuwait took bronze with 325.
Neeru also qualified for the individual final, finishing joint-top with Qatar’s Ray Bassil with a score of 118.
Aashima finished 16th with 106, while Manisha was 23rd with 104.

As expected, India breeze past Iran in their Pool C women's team squash match.
The young Anahat Singh and veteran Joshna Chinappa also register straight games victories as India remain unbeaten in Pool C!

India with a good start to their match against Iran in Pool C of women's squash team event. Tanvi Khanna wins the first game 11-5 before opponent Nargis Soltani retires.
