Pooja Vastrakar introduced for the first into the attack and she strikes rightaway. A slower one from the bowler and Kanika Ahuja, who was looking for a big slog, is through with her shot way earlier. The ball catches the outside edge, skies up and lands safely in the gloves of Yastika Bhatia.

Kanika takes on Kerr

A paddle sweep to fine-leg before dispatching one over the deep mid-wicket boundary. Kanika Ahuja has just decimated  Amelia Kerr - one of the best spinners in the world in just two deliveries.

Halfway through the innings, RCB have lost half their side. They have still managed to keep finding the boundaries and score at a decent rate though. They would need Richa Ghosh, who has Kanika Ahuja for company, to bat through the innings now.

PERRY, RUN OUT!

A classic case of miscommunication between Perry and Ghosh and the former has to walk back, thanks to a direct hit from Humaira Kazi. A slight misfield at point by Sciver-Brunt and Perry sets off for a run. She has reached halfway down the ground when Ghosh sends her back as the ball parries to Kazi at backward point.

No way Perry was reaching back with that throw from Humaira Kazi. There were two mix-ups earlier as well between this duo and it has finally hurt them.

Despite having lost 4 wickets quickly, RCB is not holding back. Both Perry and Ghosh are going for the big shots relentlessly.

MI lose review

Richa Ghosh tonks Nat Sciver-Brunt over deep-midwicket boundary with disdain. The bowlers follows up with a bouncer aimed straight at the head, but the umpire gives not out. 

MI were convinced there was an edge and asked for a referral. Richa Ghosh too was all set to walk back as the replay showed a deflection, but ultra edge does not show anything. Everyone on the field is confused. But, Ghosh stays and MI lose their review.

Mumbai Indians on top after the powerplay. RCB started off well and were 39 for no loss with more than an over left, but have since lost four wickets in 11 deliveries. 

It started with Saika Ishaque scalping Devine and Kasat and then Matthews prized out two big fishes - Mandhana and Knight, in consecutive deliveries to help MI back into the contest.
