The semifinals of the inaugural edition of the ICC Women's U19 T20 World Cup starts today with India taking on New Zealand. While the latter are unbeaten in the tournament so far, Shafali Verma and co tasted defeat by the hands of Australia in the Super Six stage.

India, though, had whitewashed New Zealand in a home series just a month before the start of the World Cup without their two experienced players - Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh.

But, all that is in the past. None of it will count today.
