Gooood Eveninggg!

The Indian women's cricket team open their 2023 ICC T20 World Cup campaign against Pakistan today. The women in blue had endured a heartbreak against Australia at the final hurdle in the previous edition of the tournament.

That, though, was in a pre-covid-19 era. A lot has changed since then - both across the globe and within the Indian team. Shikha Pandey - the wrecker in chief in last edition, barely made it to the team this time. Shafali Verma is no more a rookie. Renuka Singh is the pace-attack leader. Indian women have an ICC Trophy albeit in the U19 section.

The only thing similar is the hunger to win a Senior World Cup. A lot to play for Harmanpreet and co over the next few days.

Stay tuned for all the latest updates!
