India vs Australia LIVE: India scored 172/5, batting first, against Australia in the 1st T20I at the DY Patil Stadium on Friday. Australia are chasing 173 to win.

Smriti Mandhana (28) and Shafali Verma (21) got India off to a brisk start in the first four overs before Australia tightened the noose in the middle overs. Richa Ghosh played an exciting cameo of 36 to take the scoring rate back up again between overs 14 to 17. In the last three overs, Deepti Sharma (36* off 15 balls) took centre stage and sent the Mumbai crowd wild.
