Mirabai currently in 2nd position
As it stands, Mirabai Chanu is currently second post the snatch category with her lift of 87kg. HOU Zhihui is first while Jourdan Delacruz is third with her lift of 86kg. We will be back after a break of 15 minutes.

Consistency is key and the Chinese weightlifter does it again. She lifts 94kg successfully and sets the bar even higher.

Hou Zhihui sets a new Olympic record with her 92kg successful attempt. Well, no one can say this was unexpected.
Mirabai Chanu attempts 89kg
She fails her third chance and will definitely not be happy as Chinese weightlifter Hou Zhihui is currently well in the lead.
