Tokyo Olympics: Day 2 LIVE, July 25 —Indian Men's Hockey Team in action — Updates, results, blog
Another heartbreak for Indian fans
It is a very big heartbreak for the Indian fans as Manu Bhaker and Yashaswini Deswal finish 12th and 13th respectively in the qualification round. Both of them looked in good touch, but could not really make it count. The former, in particular, started off in a spectacular fashion before the gun malfunction threw her off. Yashaswini, on the other hand, was a tad bit inconsistent and that probably hurt her chances.
Final Score:
Manu Bhaker 575/600
Yashaswini Deswal: 574/600

It is getting from bad to worse for the 19-year-old Bhaker. She has now fallen down to 18th in the rankings, and looks completely out of sorts.
Not looking good for India
Things do not look good for India at the moment. Manu Bhaker is currently looking a pale shadow of herself, on the other hand, Yashaswini Deswal's inconsistency continues.
