India has now surpassed their Tokyo Olympics medal tally
With Singhraj's bronze medal, India has now surpassed their Tokyo Olympics medal tally.
Will India's day take a turn for better?
Unlike yesterday, it was a slow start to the day for India today. While seven Indian athletes - Rubina Francis, Rakesh Kumar, Bhagyashri Jadhav, Simran, Bhavina Patel, Sonalben Patel and Manish Narwal, exited without adding on to their tally, Singhraj stood there like a rock.
There were moments when it felt, Singhraj would slip up. But, he did not. Instead, he embraced the pressure and emerged as a champion!
Hopefully, this is what turnsaround India's day in Tokyo.
