"The rain was dangerous. I had asked the officials to stop the event," Sharad Kumar said in the press conference.
"The weather was a big difference, I could not execute my plan properly due to rain," Mariyappan added
"I was injured last night and had lost all the hope," Sharad reveals in a press conference.
Mariyappan Thangavelu has become only the third Indian to win multiple Paralympics medal. He joins the exclusive club of Joginder Singh Bedi and Devendra Jhajharia.

Sam Grewe brushes the bar, but it refuses to fall much to the dismay of Indians. The American takes the gold at 1.88m, while Mariyappan returns with silver at 1.86m!
