The top Indian tennis players kickstarted their doubles campaign at the prestigious Grand Slam event in the United Kingdom, the Wimbledon, on Wednesday.
Two Indian players were in action for the respective first round matches. Sumit Nagal with his Serbian partner Dusan Lajovic took on the Spanish pair.
Whereas, the former world no. 1, Bopanna-Ebden was up against the Dutch pair.

The Indo-Aussie pair of Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden took a straight-set victory over the Dutch pairing of Robin Haase and Sander Arends.
The both sets ended in a similar way as Rohan-Ebden won the breaks on the final game of the set to clinch the match.
